Usage of Edit Icon
It is a known fact that people notice everything, most especially mistakes. We basically thrive on it. Celebrity faux pas break the internet. Clickbait articles are literally devoted to A-list blunders—shameful hairdos, botched plastic surgery, mismatched outfits, rude remarks, DUIs, and most of their Twitter timeline. There are real jobs dedicated to spotting errors and separate ones for fixing them. Welcome to Earth.
The edit button is one of the unsung heroes on the internet and life in general. Through editing, humanity has been saved multiple times from badly taken photos, irrelevant videos, poor singing ability, typos, and a lot of embarrassment. It’s safe to say that mankind would be nowhere without the edit feature.

The edit icon is usually in the form of a pencil. With this unassuming pencil, you can go back to the drawing board and correct the mistakes you’ve done in the past. Probably not all of it, but one less mortifying mistake could be everything.

Since people make mistakes of all kinds, there are also various kinds of edit icons:
- Edit file
- Edit image
- Edit video
- Edit property
- Edit user

At the end of the day, mistakes are natural. So go on and be free, but be sure to take the edit icon with you.
